The Romantic Culture of France

When one thinks of France, they instantly think of beauty, mystery and romance. They think of indulgence, delicacies, and rooms decorated by Dot Maison. The French are extremely hospitable and friendly people and usually open their arms to just about any visitor. However, they do appreciate when their visitors make the effort to fit into their culture.

The French are typically private people but display a great deal of affection. They are very formal and courteous with strangers. Friends are often greeted with cheek kisses, one kiss on the right cheek and one kiss on the left. Close acquaintances, family members and friends are called by first their first names.

France is well respected for its superb cuisine, especially its cheeses and wine. France cuisine will vary depending on the region, however all dishes are of high quality. Other typical French foods include pastries, chocolate (pain au chocolate is a delicacy and is chocolate filled bread), croissants and tea or coffee with breakfast.

There is a great deal of art and culture to experience in France. You can visit the Louvre museum houses to experience exquisite art pieces such as Leonardo Da Vinci’s “Mona Lisa”.

A visit to Paris will prove to leave you spellbound. It is full of ancient and modern culture. Whether you want to watch the cyclists in the Tour De France tournament, view the world class fashion shows or simply take a walk among all the spectacular architectural buildings, Paris is the place to go. Paris also offers the best shopping opportunities with its branded clothing, accessories and crazy deals and colossal rates. You can visit the ships in Saint Ouen Flea market, high street stores and boutiques.

Finally, what would France be thought of if not of romance? Although many find this “romance”to be only a myth, France’s beauty definitely offers an enchanting setting for any romantic getaway.
